This production attempts to capture fragments of the life of Stanisława Przybyszewska – an unjustly forgotten author of dramas and short prose. She died at the age of thirty-four, in obscurity, worn down by poverty and addiction. She remained steadfast in her life and artistic choices until the very end, wholly devoted to her writing despite receiving no recognition. The cost of that devotion was high – the loss of dignity, reputation and a sense of safety.

The creators craft a story about the price of artistic integrity. They examine the forces behind the decision to follow an uncompromising creative path – one that often leads to alienation and hardship.
